Deeside Water is a unique gift from nature which has helped people for centuries. Our mission is to share its healing benefits with the world, making a positive difference to well-being, doing good where we can and preserving it for future generations.
About Us
Fuaraìn enjoys a close relationship with The Deeside Water Company, a family owned business who produce premium mineral water from sacred springs in the Scottish Highlands.
It started with evidence that the water helped skin conditions and evolved in consultation with experts in beauty, medical herbalism and cosmetic science.
We are a small, dedicated team, who believe passionately in the properties of this special water and the skincare benefits of our products.
We care about doing the right thing and have a strong desire to preserve this special place for future generations. It’s why we do what we do.
Our Sustainable and Ethical Approach
We aim to minimise our environmental impact by being conscious about the impact of our choices and actions. We do our best to work in an ethical way, being mindful of our responsibility to others and the planet.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We begin with the aim to use as little packaging as possible. We reuse what we can and recycle the rest. We have a weekly collection of recyclables which means our waste for landfill is very small. We use a small number of ingredients to minimise waste and movement of goods and aim to send products to customers in the smallest practical packaging we can. We encourage everyone we work with to do the same.
Packaging
We use packaging which is fully recyclable. Where possible, our packaging is made of partly or fully recycled materials or from certified sustainable sources, like FSC certified paper and cardboard. Our manufacturing partner is ISO 22716 certified (Cosmetics - Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices) and we encourage everyone to recycle their packaging after use.
Responsible Sourcing
Our ingredients are sourced from responsible producers who share our values. We work with our partners to encourage good practice in everything we do. It all adds up.
No Animal Testing
Fuarain Skincare believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.
All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

We support Keep Scotland Beautiful, the charity that campaigns, educates and acts on a range of local, national and global sustainability issues.
They work collaboratively to achieve positive change; improving people's quality of life and environment, tackling a wide range of issues, from reducing the amount of litter on our streets to cutting the carbon emissions that threaten our planet.
