Find out more about the team behind Fuarain; Susannah and Tom Fraser, siblings who grew up around Pannanich Wells and its sacred history.

Meet the Siblings: Susannah and Tom Fraser

Our guardianship of Fuaraìn was built on childhood memories and a profound connection to the Scottish highlands. As siblings who grew up in the shadow of the Cairngorms, exploring the banks of the River Dee and hearing tales of the healing springs at Pannanich Wells, Fuaraìn was our opportunity to protect something truly extraordinary.

DR SUSANNAH FRASER

Growing up with a physician father who respected both modern medicine and traditional healing, I was destined to bridge these two worlds. My formal education in dermatology gave me the scientific foundation to understand skin health, but it was those childhood afternoons spent at Pannanich Wells that taught me about nature's capacity for healing.
After years of working with patients, I became increasingly aware of how many skin conditions responded positively to natural interventions. The memory of my father explaining how the springs had healed countless visitors over centuries stayed with me through medical school and beyond.

When the opportunity arose to take the reins of Fuaraìn, it felt like a homecoming. Here was the chance to combine dermatological expertise with the healing tradition I'd grown up respecting, developing something that honoured both science and heritage.
The vision for Fuaraìn was never about following trends or creating an extensive product line. It was about formulating one perfect product that would allow people everywhere to experience the remarkable benefits of these healing waters.

TOM FRASER

Some of my earliest memories involve splashing in the rivers and streams around Pannanich Wells. As a child, I took these waters for granted. As an adult, I came to understand their rarity.

My business background took me far from the Highlands, but I never lost my connection to this special place. When Susannah approached me about taking up the mantle of Fuaraìn, I knew immediately that this was an opportunity to preserve something precious from our childhood while sharing it with the world.

What drives me is knowing that we're protecting a natural resource that has brought healing to so many throughout history. Every decision we make is guided by the question: "Are we being good custodians of these waters?"

OUR SHARED VISION

As siblings and curators of Fuaraìn, we each bring complementary strengths.

Susannah contributes her medical expertise and understanding of skin health, while Tom focuses on sustainable business practices and preserving the heritage of our source.
What unites us is a shared childhood steeped in respect for these healing waters. Every pot of our Super Active Moisture Cream carries not just the benefits of Pannanich Wells but the story of our family's connection to this extraordinary natural resource.

We don’t believe in launching products for their own sake, for now we are committed to one single moisturiser that performs exceptionally – our ultimate vision extends beyond skincare to a holistic approach to wellbeing. But whatever form our growth takes, our commitment remains unwavering: to honour the healing traditions of Pannanich Wells while bringing their benefits to people around the world.
